My SD>system SD>Don't get XP Home. Get XP Corporate Pro. No activation BS SD>there. Just a key, like the "good old installs". ;) There's no such thing as "XP Corporate Pro". What's known as the "corporate edition" is a pirated version of XP Pro with a stolen multiple license product key. As a matter of fact there are two known stolen multiple license product keys that are used in the illegal copies of XP Pro. Neither of them are able to use the MS update page. You can purchase a multiple license version of XP Pro or if you have a MSN subscription - either way - no activation is required. However, both purchases are expensive. Also - many OEMs (Dell, Gateway, Compaq, HP, etc.) pre-install XP Home and Pro and use a BIOS locking scheme. With that method no activation is required, however, the OS can not be moved to another type of machine. cscag@charter.net CMPQwk 1.42 1262 --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: COMM Port OS/2 juge.com 204.89.247.1 (281) 980-9671 (1:106/2000) .
