You'll need to find out which method they're using so you can decode. If you really would like to participate in those usenet groups, I suggest you download a copy of Forte Agent. Agent is the best newsreader that you can use and it includes software to encode/decode most news messages. You can also use Outlook Express but you will need additional software to decode/encode the messages or attachments. DG>Well i was just testin this Outlook thing and see if i can put some DG>UseNet stuff on my BBS. DG>Do you know how to deal with this stuff? Here's the URL for Agent: http://www.forteinc.com/agent/download.php Also do a Google search for free software that does UUencode and MIME. Once you are able to "decode" the file back to a normal format it will play as an ordinary MP3 file by using the Windows Media Player or another player like WinAmp. The reason those MP3 files are encoded in the first place rather than attached as a binary file is probably because they're copyrighted. Have fun but be careful.
