Its performance is also unaffected. I've also read the new cautions and am satisfied that the problems are associated with Windows XP SP1. I don't run XP. CS> Automatic updating from the MS site is nice if everything MS did CS> was correct and did not cause other problems... I've had more trouble updating from the Windows Update page.
