What do you mean exactly? A rescan of a msgbase? This has nothing to do with 
any BBS package at all. The rescan of the msgbase (Jam, Squish etc.) is totaly 
handled by WaterGate.

The only thing which could be a problem is when Winserver wildcat is using a 
msgbase format WaterGate doesn't support (but then you can't use the 
combination WaterGate with Wildcat at all).
