To be safe, your signaled threads must be out of any async-signal-
UNsafe stuff (not only "pthread_ code"), must better NOT touch errno 
(it can be modified even by async-cancel-safe calls). And your 
handlers should better NOT call any cancel points (there are a few 
of them among async-signal-"safe" calls).
