How's the C++ threads definition stuff going these days?  Not so easy as
you thought. :)

Given who's participating, I would have though you guys would have come up with
a JSR-133 memory model with pirate memory barriers and some tracing GC
type support (i.e. non support for other types of memory management) by now.
