It was a race condition in kernel interfaces, while a thread was 
entering or leaving a kernel wait state.

You might check that your system has the latest patches for the release 
(V5.1B); I suspect it doesn't because I recall similar problems having 
been fixed long ago.

(And WHY would this be cross-posted to "fr.comp.os.mac-os.x"? That makes 
no sense at all...)
