  1. You don't have to make 10,000 bit bitset for select() call on
10,000 fd's;

  2. Your kernel does not have to operate on (and nobody claimed it's
been O(1)-ed) 10,000 bit bitset;

  3. Of course you'll handle one real client in more than one thread
(think browser opening 4 connections) so it's no use to pretend there
is less "competition". It's only organized in another fun way :).
