Not really, but you might want to take a look at: Network Programming for Microsoft Windows, Second Edition This deals with Winsock primarily and contains a good chapter on how to create "scaleable" servers. It does give a somewhat complete list of issues wrt resource management and IOCP gotcha's. Also, it shows how to create a server using IOCP that can chew on 50,000+ concurrent connections...
