Don't snip so much that peple do not know what you are talking about.

In /var/log/samba you will find the log files.

Rename them and try logging into the server from one of the windows 
machines:

Click on start, run, //servername (specified in your samba config file).

Try to browse the shared folder if possible.  Now look and see if you have 
new log files /var/log/samba.  If so post the new info.
