Subj : Software suspend for linux supporting swap file

Hi there

I'm thinking of installing this software, and I was reading Howto
it talks about putting like 'resume=/dev/hda3' statement to kernel option
shortly.  My problem is that, does it support swap file instead of swap
partition?  It warns you if you set incorrectly it will likely corrupt the
file system.  the howto doesn't show anything about swap files.. and
that's what i'm using right now..  i'll appreciate any words on this
