And, of course, you can do it from Emacs too.
I use Pan and am running Gnome, rather than KDE. On my system, I
install Gnome utilities, KDE utilities, and whatever else I want.
Gnome and KDE utilities generally work just fine under either
desktop environment. For a Gnome system, you just need to install
the basic KDE core packages, and vice versa.
