If Windows is really on /dev/hda1, Bill, since /dev/hda is the first or master hard drive, would the answer be to delete the two map-drive entries before re-running lilo, or is something more needed? (I don't know the answer to that myself. I find it preferable to say "try this" rather than "that is your problem".)
