Better performance too. Still, swap is very useful. There are always a few processes doing nothing for a while. With swap space, those can be stored on disk, freeing up memory that can then be used for disk cache. Sybren -- The problem with the world is stupidity. Not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? .
