Hello,

I was able to configure the video in the Inspiron 8600 with WSXGA+. 
First I installed the driver provided by Envidia 
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_1.0-6111.html then I 
changed my configuration file, which is reproduced in full below:
