Subj : MSN IM; can't see people on the sabe subnet as me

Hi

When I run either Kopete, GAIM or aMSN (on Slackware 10) and connect to
the MSN network, I see the status of users on the internet, but not those
on the same subnet as me. People running MSN messenger on Windows don't
have this problem, they see people on the internet and people on the LAN.

Does anyone know if there's a way round this?
