i upgraded my debian install using apt-get unstable main. everything seems 
to be working fine except one thing. Gnome starts without any icons. Plus it 
gives error at start "failed to load gnome-terminal.png" and "failed to load 
file-manager.png. Could't recognize the image file format for file 
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/file-manager.png". All the image files 
are intact in their folders. It seems there is a problem loading them. So I 
tried installing png loader library, without any effect.


I am tried google for few hours and now tired of doing that. Appreciate any 
pointers.
