Subj : sound problems with mandrake 9.0

I have Mandrake 9.0, kernel 2.4.19-16mdk. My MBO is Gigabyte 7N-400L (nVIDIA
nFORCE2 Chipset, Socket A, 6-channel audio) which has soundcard on it. My
problem is that mandrake doesn't recognize sound card at all. How can I fix
that problem?
I even try new Mandrake 10.0 and it recognized my sound card but I couldn't
still get the sound out.
