Subj : Suse 9.1 on Dell Inspiron : no keyboard after first reboot

I updated my Dell Inspiron 5150 from Suse 9.0 to 9.1
Everything went fine and it seemed to work after the first
reboot after installation.

However, everytime I reboot now, the machine does not respond
to the keyboard.

I tried the Suse Repair function to no avail.

I seem to remeber reading about something like this before,
but I can't find it.
