That did it. After remounting with rw I was able to edit the menu.lst file, save, and then reboot. I can now boot normally into my Suse installation. Thanks. I have a Fedora installation also on my system. I'm trying to edit menu.lst to properly boot it up but can't get it right. Any suggestions? Thanks again. .
