Hmm... the only TV tuner card I have any experience with is the Hauppauge WinTV PVR350, which has a hardware MPEG2 encoder & decoder. Works pretty well. You can also use it's video output to connect to your television, so you can use that as a monitor. I don't know if your computer will boot without a video card, though. Also, you can only use the PVR350 as a video card in X, so you can't use it before you've set up X. Sybren -- The problem with the world is stupidity.
