There is a file called /etc/inittab that tells the system what mode you want it to start in, among other things. issue man inittab on the system for details, and if you decide to edit it, be certain you won't mess it up or the system can become unbootable. Then you need to set up your X86Config file to suit the new graphics card. see man X86Config for details 2. Run DrakBoot and tick the box for graphical startup. Probably the easiest thing to do is run drakconf and navigate to DrakBoot. And then to XFdrake to set up the graphics resolution etc. you can say XFdrake and drakboot from the command line, as far as I recall. .
