Subj : Maelstrom locks

Anyone know why the game Maelstrom would lock my machine? I'm running
Fedora 2 and all the other cool graphic games work fine. Maelstrom
always locks after a minute or two though. I'd really like to play it,
looks like an awesome game. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
