Subj : Firestarter takes forever to start To : comp.os.linux From : chipha Date : Sun Sep 12 2004 04:38 pm Hello, I'm running RH8 on a 586 that was pieced together. I don't start iptables or ipchains. I do use nautilus, which I know is a hog, but is there some setting or settings that I'm missing? I connect with my dial-up then click start on Firestarter and it takes at least 90 seconds to start running. Any ideas? Or further info to help diagnose? TIA George .
