Hi all, 
i was trying to setup a linux file sharing between two computers
(redhat 9), and have done something to upset the computer login
process, when i go to login if i type a wrong password, it says
"authentication failed", tried i9n text mode and it just kept going
back to the origional text login display!. i was tampering with
firewall settings, ip address and mnt config, as i had followed a
tutorial and when the machine was suppose to show a mounted sys it
showed something like (something) boot/= boot...... .
what and how can i get my system back!, as i have a lot of information
on it, and is there a step by step way?
