Subj : Querying DNS Server for sub-domains

I'm not quite sure where to post this so I'm posting it here because
it is the best place I have found so far.

I'm away at school.  I know my college has many subdomains.  Most of
these go to different webcams throughout the campus.  There may also
be many other things registered under the domain.

What I am trying to find is a way tp query a DNS server somehow and
find out all the subdomains under the current domain.

I am working under a linux environment but have a windows machine
availible if need be.
