I'm sure the developers are from various places and thats fine with me. I'd like to give Firefox a test drive and see for myself. Operas still a fine product (and used to be totally free at first). They used to have many features in their browser that IE & Netscape didn't. They were probably a step or two ahead of everyone when it came to using java. You can actually get the free version, along with ads shown in the top right, that aren't that bad. My favorite thing about Opera was that it rendered pages must faster then IE.. Anyway, about Netscape being based in America.. I should have figured as much. While we Americans are often nieve & slow to learn, we do have a great country. We make a lot of products the world seems to love, like Coke (which I'm having at the moment) and I've heard some of the beginnings of the net started in our country (amazingly with the military, how strange!). Anyway I've been recently enlightened, not all good things come from here. I'm more open-minded of late. Think I'll go out and buy a bottle of French wine or maybe some German beer :-) Best Regards, Skip .
