You talk about being able to boot without DMA. You don't tell us what happens if you enable DMA. You also don't tell us *what* DMA you're talking about. Harddisk? Sound card? Video card? Something else? Sybren -- The problem with the world is stupidity. Not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? .
