AMD does NOT recommend using front fans... Summer now, and before using the fans, in some cases (eg kernel compilation), the temps ~= 70 C!!! After putting them (the fans) temps <= 63 C (with case closed) and <= 66 C (case open) using xmms with opengl plugins and a geforce 2 MX 400 graphic card. But, think of it... maybe you are looking at the wrong direction... i mean it could be a M/B problem, or overheating from the M/B chipset, or the graphics card chip, or ... Here (in greece), as i am comp engineering, you never know what exactly happened, and you cannot explain exactly what the hell is going on with this #$%@#$!*^ h/w configuration!!! keep trying... .
