This exchange has actually been very good for me, despite the bashing I've taken. I'll earnestly try to be more open-minded.. I'm hopeful the people who've rightfully bashed me we'll realize, even tho we're sometimes considered as having a narrow world view, we're still much like other people around the world. We live, we learn, we grow.. Sometimes even heated debate can be a very good thing. I'm open and honest enough to re-evalute my view of other nations. Hopefully you'll afford me the same.. Americans aren't bad people, maybe we have bad leadership, but then again doesn't every nation have corrupt leadership at the top? We do our best to elect good people but unfortunately only the wealthy can afford to run for office and have a good chance at winning. Despite all that, we're still a nation full of good and honest people, just like your country I'm sure. I wish you the best and again thanks for giving some good food for thought.. By the way, Canada's a great place. I'd move there if it wasn't so cold :-) Respectfully, Skip .
