Yum did what you asked it - checked update rpms for your system,first in 
the list is gstreamer i386 0.6.2-0.1.fr at freshrpms repo

Do # rpm -qa | grep gstreamer

you will see the version thats in your system,do # yum update and those 
will be the rpms updated
