Hi Again,

I managed  to fix the problem .
The problem was that my xinitrc had become corrupt. What I did is 

copied 
cp .initrc.template .xinitrc in home dir

same for root
cd /etc/X11/xint/xintrc /root/.xintrc



And now it works fine .
