Please forgive my ignorance, but I'm confused with what is the latest
qlogic 2x00 device driver for Linux. The version on the qlogic website
appears to be 7.0, yet there is an 8.0 in the latest 2.6 kernel tree
and that has been in the 2.6 kernel since 2.6.2. Looking through the
log, version 8.0 of qla2x00 was derived from 6.04.00b8, while version
7.0 of the driver was derived from 6.07.00b9plus. Can anyone provide a
little light to this? Thanks.
