Unfortunately if you are using Google then you can't. You have to 
use proper newsreader software if you want to post under a fake 
address, since Google will not let you register without insuring 
your address is valid.

However, what you can do with Google is open up a free webmail 
account with Hotmail or Yahoo (or anyone really), then change the 
email address you are registered under to this new address - then 
at least the spam is diverted somewhere else and not mixed in with 
all your genuine emails.
