I agree to that sometimes installation is a problem for people with little or no experience in partitioning and so fort, but even that is going away in newer distros so they in fact becoes easier to install than M$ systems. Problems will come with what ever OS you choose. I've been aroound for some time and seen the most of the modern systems and I say that there is very small problems with Linux concerning installation and security matters compared to NT, W2k and XP. if people really start thinking of what is happening when installing a system they will find that they never really know anything when installing a M$ system, but they have to think a bit when installing a Linux system.
