Subj : New Slackware Install & Configuration Files

I just installed slackware on my machine and I cant find any
configuration files in my home directory like .profile, .bashrc, etc. 
I am looking to change the logon scripts so when I logon that fortune
program dosent run and I would also like to set some aliases.  Please
Help and Thank You.
