Are you kidding? The Linux/Unix developer interface (api) has been there for something like 30 years. Do you still program in win16? What about the DOS interface? True, there are many new apis, like qt and gtk, but they don't supersede each other. If you want to use an old program, hey, you can even run old a.out binaries. Vilmos .
