I'm looking into building a backup machine for the office I work in.
Ideally, I'd like to have one linux machine that regularly copies important
data directories off user WinXP, win2k, win98 machines (8 in our office).
My linux experience is limited (I have a very basic devian webserver running
in my garage).  Basically I'm wondering how easy and reliable it is to have
a linux box connect to a windows box?  Our network involves workgroups...
does this complicate matters much?

Any answeres or directions to howto's would be great!
