Subj : After the using of "Recovery Expert"  from Acronis the directory's are file's

Hi,

after resize the /home/ (/dev/hda3/ ext3) partition and rebooting
linux said there is no /home/ partition. fstab /dev/hda there is no
/dev/hda3 listet.
I used the Software "Recovery Expert" from Acronis which was able to
recover the partition, but the home-directory's of the users are now
files !
The files have the same size as the directory's before.
Is it possible to convert the files back to directory's ?
Or gain the data in the files ?
