ok, i have decided on a final setup. reiser fs will be used on all but
/boot and /mnt/windoze (obviously). i'm keeping the swap file at 1 gb
on one partition. I rarely have a need for it, but its there at the
size i made it "just in case". as far as the "swap file" idea... thats
one of the reasons i hate windoze, so i'd say no to that. increased
windoze partition to 20, reduced shared partitions to 20 gb each.
/boot, swap and /var are on primary partitions, /usr and / are on
extended partitions.
