i've never done it that way, but, that being the case, i would be
willing to revise my setup as follows:
(filesystem types in parentheses)
80 GB
- 256MB /boot (e2fs)
- 1.0GB swap
- 5  GB /var (suggestions?)
- 20 GB /usr (suggestions?)
- 53.75 /    (suggestions?)
160GB
- 10 GB /mnt/windoze partition (FAT32)
- 20 GB /home partition (suggestions?)
- 65 GB /mnt/[small files] (suggestions?)
- 65 GB /mnt/[large files] (suggestions?)
