Avocent (used to be Cybex I think) has always worked well for me. At my workplace I have an 8 port from them with 2 linux boxes, two Win98 boxes, one NT, one XP, one 2K server and the 8th open for testing whatever I want to plug in there. There is an occasional mouse/KB lockup or odd behavior issue, but the KVM allows a mouse/KB reset to be done from it's menu and this has never failed to correct the occasional problem. I don't know for _sure_ that all thier switches have this feature, but I would suspect so. I also suspect they are a little more expensive than most of the others, but well worth the difference. -- George http://people.delphiforums.com/gmcc .
