Subj : Need help installing SuSE beside Fedora To : comp.os.linux From : ObsessiveMathsFreak Date : Sat Jul 10 2004 08:06 pm Sorry if this question has been asked umpteen times before, but I'll ask it anyway. I have a dual boot XP/Fedora Core 2 machine, and amazingly Fedora hasn't broken the windows partition. I've just gotten SuSE 9.0 Pro with a magazine and I was looking to install it. However when I try, SuSE dectects the Fedora install as a linux install and only gives me the option of wiping the linux install or replacing it. Needless to say I want neither. I'd prefer to basically have a triple boot system with Fedora/SuSE/XP all appearing on the bootloader menu. I'd prefer to have them all seperate so If I screw up one the others will be OK. Is there any way this can be done? Thanks in advance. -- May the Maths be with you.... always. .
