Can you initiate telnet/ftp/ssh connections to the machine? Can you telnet to the machine on the VNC port? Is the host even accessible from your desktop (ie. can you ping it)? Have you tried running a portscan of your server to check which ports are open? When you can answer these questions, THEN somebody might be able to help you. Regards, Minderbinder. .
