in gentoo all i do is


emerge blackbox or Blackbox (case sensitive)

and then i t syncs (updates)

then it downloads compiles and merges itself.

The i go in to the xinitrc.d file

and instead of making it boot kde i replace 

run kde with 

exec blackbox


But i can recover easy, dont try this unless you can to.
