I've tried SuSE, Fedora, and Mandrake. I'm going to be undergoing a
system overhaul, and im considering a distro switch as well...

i feel that i need to gain more experience, but don't want to get in
over my head. basically i need a distro that is at an intermediate
usage level. Like having a balance between things one can do in GUI
and things that can be done with CLI. However, i still need KDE.

recommend any distros for my purpose?
