Why move it if you're going to delete it anyway? Or did you mean
"copying to another partition, then deleting the original"? That's
basically the same as moving.

/hoem? I guess you mean /home. Next time, re-read your post and fix
any typos you made before sending it. Perhaps the file is still opened
by an application? In that case, it's still there, except you can't
see it. Close the application that is using it, and try again.
