Pay careful attention to what the author says about partitioning. http://www.flexbeta.net/main/comments.php?catid=1&id=8126 I personally prefer SuSE, but all 3 are relatively easy to install. Another distribution, that comes in a single standalone CD is Knoppix. You can download the ISO, burn it, and boot the CD. (http://www.knoppix.org). I generally bring a few of these to various meetings and I give it to my students in the "Linux for the Desktop" course I teach. I also use Knoppix at installfests, and use QTParted to repartition their existing Windows partitions. -- Jerry Feldman Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 .
