It's under the "Advanced" options. Does the Mozilla "Help / About Plug-ins" page show that the Java plug-in is loaded and enabled? I don't know about Yahoo, but many web sites use Java and/or Javascript to perform the fancy menu/windowing features you see. So, the version and state of your installed Java might be important.
