Subj : Dying motherboard?

I think my motherboard is about to die...

Symptoms are as follows:
1. mozilla/netscape randomly crashes when using java
2. X randomly crashes for no apparent reason
3. Computer occasionally locks up and gives me one endless beep
4. Windoze will not load (not that thats really important to me)
5. Power button doesn't work (yes power button is connected)

my computer has only been doing this recently, and i think the problem
is with the motherboard. what do you guys think?
